To audition for this advanced Musical Theatre Group, please have your child record the following in a short video and send it to tkomp16@gmail.com and emma.yaniger@gmail.com by midnight on Friday December 22nd. 

• Introduction: Say your name, age, and the name of the song you are singing. 

• Singing & Acting: Please perform 30 seconds-1 minute of a musical theatre style song. Be sure to use your acting techniques to tell the story of the song and engage your audience. This is your chance to show us what you've learned!

• Video Tips: Film your audition against a plain background. If using a phone to record, film the video horizontally and straight on using a tripod/phone stand or have someone hold the phone steady while you record. Take a moment between your introduction and monologue to get into character. Show us a clear difference between you doing your introduction and the character you are portraying in your song. Sing along with a karaoke or piano track. If you cannot find one, you may do your audition acapella (without music).
